OmniAir Certification Services & 6C User Group Hold Toll Interoperability Certification Program Webinar – 11:00AM ET Friday June 8th

OmniAir Certification Services - an affiliate of OmniAir Consortium - and the 6C User Group are holding a Tolling Interoperability Certification Program Webinar.  REGISTER NOW to learn more about this debut program for the US tolling community.  Background: The need for interoperable systems in the connected vehicle community - of which tolling is an early and important stakeholder - and the interest in scalability and competitive markets are catalysts for road operators to procure, and suppliers to provide, standards-based interoperable equipment.  Still, products from different sources do not interoperate on their own.  History confirms that a certification program must be in place that provides unambiguous confirmation of the technology supplier's compliance to a defined set of interoperability requirements or specifications. Creating these programs requires input.  For the 6C Certification Program discussed at this webinar, stakeholders include toll facility operators, suppliers and integrators, and others with an interest in helping inform a process that serves the community's goals for the technology.  The objectives of this webinar are to inform and encourage participation in OmniAir as it works with the 6C User Group in this first program to enable true, national, 'certified' interoperability for a tolling protocol.  Anyone interested in learning more about the process of interoperability assurance for toll collection and other connected vehicle technologies should listen in.  The presentation is followed by an opportunity to contribute your thoughts.  Please do!  Register by clicking the words 'REGISTER NOW' here or above.  Or to learn more, contact OmniAir Consortium at 703-766-5005 or via info@omniair.org.
