Using Audio on Social Media
There's a good chance your organization is involved with social media. For the most part, it's text or pictures used to share information with your followers on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. I've been doing some interesting work with local non-profit groups to use short audio cuts on social media to promote events. The idea is to keep the recordings brief so they can be listened to quickly on the desktop or on the go but to also write and read them in a breezy professional style that fits with social media. One I just did for an event in my hometown had over 230 listens! Give a listen at http://shouts.at/ED4 and notice how much info you can share in just 19-seconds. The logo of the event is also included with the recording. I can also share info on when and where the recording was played, how many were heard on a mobile device and how many were heard via Facebook.
I think this has real potential for transportation organizations. To demonstrate that I'm offering to record messages for your organization (commercial, government or non-profit) for FREE! You have nothing to lose and you might just discover a unique way to help spread the word. Please contact me at bernie@bwcommunications.net for more information.
