VMS2DASH Demonstration shows how TIC Connects DOTs and Navigation
During the ITS World Congress, BMW and GEWI demonstrated a prototype technology called VMS2DASH which would enable public agencies to transmit traffic information from variable message signs (VMS) onto a vehicle's in-dash information display. This is just one way that TIC Connects DOTs and Navigation. Public agency data about traffic, work zones, detours, and more can be processed by TIC for navigation devices. 511-2-DASH could be the next evolution to bring TMC data directly into cars. For a TIC features overview, visit http://gewi.com/videos/tic-overview/. Or visit www.gewi.com to learn how TIC Connects - Systems - Vehicles - Travelers.
