New Report Proves the Exceptional Quality of INRIX Vehicle Probe Data
Today, we're proud to share the results of a new report revealing the exceptional quality of INRIX probe data and its value to transportation agencies worldwide. Conducted by the University of Maryland on behalf of the 16 state I-95 Corridor Coalition, the largest ongoing analysis of traffic data quality in the world found INRIX traffic speeds and travel times consistently met, and typically far exceeded the accuracy requirements of the Coalition. Of particular note, the report shows how INRIX quality continues to improve over time under increasingly more challenging tests conducted following major weather events and other incidents having an immediate and dramatic impact on traffic conditions.
Read INRIX blog post where Ted Trepanier, INRIX Director of Product Management, shares the key findings as well as how he sees the value of vehicle probe data for agencies of all sizes for daily operations, agency planning and performance measurement, regardless of the current level of agency development.
