Friday Bonus
Tomorrow, June 13, marks the 17th anniversary of the start of the TCN. Thank you for all of your support over the years, which has come in many forms. Much has changed in those 17 years. Just to give you an example, one of the first news items posted was about real-time transit updates via pagers (remember them?) from a company called Traffic Station.
In the early days, the TCN was a discussion group. Shortly after being created I began posting articles and by November 16, 1999, the newsletter began taking on the more familiar newsletter-style format you see today.
This edition of the TCN is message #4561. Here's a link to message #1.
