Bernie's Notes
I'll be leaving Saturday for an eleven-day trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland. The TCN will continue to be published but it probably won't be sent at the usual 6 pm New York time since I hope to be fast asleep then, given the five-hour time difference. The newsletter won't always include the usual features such as the "Upcoming Events" and "Friday Bonus" since I'll be spending less time than usual in front of a computer screen.

Friday Bonus
A few weeks ago I shared one of my favorite bridges with you. It's a pedestrian-only drawbridge in Maine. Another drawbridge I came upon during my travels is in Bermuda. The Somerset Bridge is said to be the world's smallest drawbridge. There are planks in the middle of the bridge that a passerby has to lift to allow the mast of a sailboat to travel under the bridge.
