Bernie's Notes
I'm tapping the expertise of my readers to solve a formatting mystery. Most of you see the TCN as I prepare it, with a single line between each of the headings and each story. Some, though, have been seeing extra lines between breaks. One attempt to solve this yesterday resulted in no empty space between stories. I usually prepare the newsletter on Word for Mac and then copy and paste it onto Gmail when sending it. For yesterday's experiment, I copy and pasted the TCN into Google Docs before sending it. In all cases, it looked fine to me when sent and received, but for an unknown number of readers it's either too much or too little spacing between lines. Any suggestions, outside of sending it as an attachment or PDF, to make it uniform on everyone's screen? Thanks!
