The Maryland Traffic Relief Plan includes a $7.6 billion public-private partnership, the largest highway P3 endeavor in North America, for improvements to I-495 and I-270. The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) has issued a Request for Information (RFI), which is the first step in the process to bring accelerated project delivery – congestion relief sooner than traditional financing can provide; innovation – partnering with the best and brightest minds in the transportation industry; and capital – funds that can be used to bring statewide transportation benefits to Maryland.
