Today in Transportation History    

1968 **45^th anniversary** BOAC Flight 712 experienced an engine failure and a fire.  The plane made a successful emergency landing but five aboard the flight died, including stewardess Barbara Jane Harrison.  She was awarded the George Cross her heroism.
